What is Taptu?

With Taptu you can search and discover mobile touch content. Taptu is designed specifically for touch-screen mobiles so you can search and browse. Taptu finds the newest and hottest touch-friendly sites and apps which are optimised for touch-screen mobile with finger friendly navigation and lighter pages for faster loading.

Do I have to download or install anything to use Taptu?

Any mobile with an internet browser can use Taptu. Just visit taptu.com from your device and we'll automatically detect your screen size.

We also have an app for the iPhone and iPod Touch and Android. It comes with many great features and is free to download.

Can I download the songs and videos I find?

Taptu will find you what you are looking in the touch-friendly world. It is up to the site that has the songs or videos as to whether you can download from them.

Does Taptu work offline?

Generally, you must be on-line to search, but you can save some of your favourite results and access them offline if you're using Taptu's Search App for the iPhone or iPod touch.

Is Taptu available in other languages?

Currently, the Taptu mobile site (accessed by going to taptu.com from any mobile phone) is available in English, French, Italian, Spanish and German.

Our iPhone App is currently only available in English.

Does Taptu cost anything to use?

Using Taptu is free of charge. However, if you are not using WiFi than you might have to pay data charges, depending on your mobile tariff. Our pages are small to minimize charges but make sure you know your data tariff before viewing large files like videos.

When I share to Facebook where will it appear?

Sharing to Facebook posts a link and your comment in your Facebook profile for your friends to see.

Can I share stuff with friends on any mobile?

Yes, your friends can see what you share from their computer or any mobile with internet access.

How do I give feedback or report a bug?

What are the rules for using Taptu?

You can use Taptu as much as you like. If you want to use an automated service or script to access Taptu, email partners@taptu.com to find out about our search services for partners.
